Narcissist in Chief
Barak Obama, Narcissist in Chief, has gone and co-opted the Presidential Seal. I'm sure it's an attempt on the part of his campaign to make him look more "Presidential," and to get voters accustomed to seeing him in the role of President.
I, for one, find it appalling and offensive.
First off, he hasn't earned it yet. One has to be elected President to be authorized to use the presidential seal, the vice presidential seal or the Great Seal of the United States. Who does this guy think he is? Who is he to co-opt the symbol of presidential power during an election? Am I the only one who is offended by this? It's bad enough that he's taken to wearing the flag pin, giving speeches with 20 bazillion giant American flags behind him, but to steal the ultimate symbol of the US and the Presidency for his own campaign is beyond narcissistic.
Secondly, I do believe that it's illegal:
The question is...will the Treasury Department either arrest him or insist that he stop using it?18 USC Sec. 713 ...(a) Whoever knowingly displays any printed or other likeness of the great seal of the United States, or of the seals of the President or the Vice President of the United States, or the seal of the United States Senate, or the seal of the United States House of Representatives, or the seal of the United States Congress, or any facsimile thereof, in, or in connection with, any advertisement, poster, circular, book, pamphlet, or other publication, public meeting, play, motion picture, telecast, or other production, or on any building, monument, or stationery, for the purpose of conveying, or in a manner reasonably calculated to convey, a false impression of sponsorship or approval by the Government of the United States or by any department, agency, or instrumentality thereof, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than six months, or both.
(b) Whoever, except as authorized under regulations promulgated by the President and published in the Federal Register, knowingly manufactures, reproduces, sells, or purchases for resale, either separately or appended to any article manufactured or sold, any likeness of the seals of the President or Vice President, or any substantial part thereof, except for manufacture or sale of the article for the official use of the Government of the United States, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than six months, or both.

Okay ..So you are an Obama hater. All politicians, especially presidential candidates are narcissistic. They have to be to think they can be president. Stop with the bullshit attacks. There is nothing that Obama will or can do that any Republican will be satisfied with. If the man takes a shit I'm sure one of you will have something to say about the smell not being right. What I don't hear from the RP is any real discussion on issues important to families. Whys is that?? Because on those issue the republicans have spent the last eight years screwing families at every possible opportunity and second to Bush, John McCain lead the assault...Post about something that really matters not petty attacks. Our economy is in peril, our military is taxed, young men and women are dying in a war that has nothing to do with American freedom only oil, the middle class is all but dissolved and all you can post about is some symbolic crap.. I did not say that you should not have an opinion. I simply said the the RP does not want to talk about real issues because they can't win. Your posts fit that truth. The RP results to name calling or making ridiculous comment about how the DP will talk away your freedoms, or how un-American everyone else is.. Hell Bush and the 6 years of a republican congress has already taken most of your constitutional freedoms. Say what ever you want.. Evidently your Messiah can change his opinion with the wind and you'll give him a pass...the RP has done a good job and I think history will be kinder to George Bush than you are.
The fact is, we have not suffered another attack since 9/11 and if there is somebody out there making calls to and from anywhere outside the US that has something to hide, oh well. Thems the breaks in the terror game, and I don't think it's a violation of my rights as a citizen.
What chaps my ass is the SCOTUS giving the rights of American Citizens to non-citizens. THAT pisses me off, and it should piss you off too...after all, first it's habeas corpus and next it will be the illegals..but of course the libs are all for a North American Union, like the Euros, right?
